Registration and Payment

Registration

Once admitted and for each session, you must complete your registration at Cégep.

Registration is done in three steps. For this to be valid, the following three steps must be completed within the required timeframes.

1. Confirmation of course choice
2. Payment of fees
3. The schedule
To find out the important deadlines and the period during which you must complete your registration, refer to the calendar of activities.

Failure to take any of these steps does not constitute discontinuation. If you no longer wish to continue your studies at ÉNA, consult the procedure on the course or session cancellation page.

This registration procedure applies only for regular training. See the Continuing Education page to learn more.

Payment for your session

To confirm your registration at Cégep, you must pay your session fees at the appropriate time.

For regular training, payment is made according to a predetermined schedule during the previous session. The period normally begins around:

March 1, for the fall session
October 1, for the winter session
The actual dates are specified in the activity calendar a few weeks before the start of the payment period.

For continuing education, tuition fees and payment deadlines are indicated in the operational calendar. For any questions, refer to your educational advisor.

Payment methods accepted
Online payment through your financial institution is the preferred method of payment to settle the balance of an invoice. Payment by mail (check or money order) is always accepted.

For full details of payment terms and for the list of eligible financial institutions or accepted payment methods, visit the page How to pay an invoice issued by Cégep Édouard-Montpetit.

How to confirm your registration and payment?

To confirm your registration you must use the Choix de cours module in the Cégep portal during the registration period described in the box above.

To make your payment, you need to use the Centre de paiement module of the Omnivox Online Services during the same period or consult the information regarding which payment method you wish to use under the heading What payment method can I use?

Additional information for your course selection

The collection of course descriptions with information regarding the complementary and physical education courses is available on the in the French student guide Ma réussite à ÉNA.

Students who receive a message telling them to meet with their academic advisor (API) need to use the appointment module (Centre de rendez-vous) on the Cégep portal. Given that the number of appointments is limited, we recommend that you schedule an appointment as soon as possible.

Maintaining your admission

Special conditions for maintaining a student’s admission

Your Cégep readmission for each session is subject to certain rules. It is important that you familiarize yourself with these rules in the document about conditions for admission and academic progress (Conditions d’admission et cheminement scolaire), Article 6: Monitoring academic progress (Cheminement scolaire et suivi).

What to do if you decide not to persue your schooling for next semester?

If you decide not to continue your studies at Cégep Édouard-Montpetit for the Winter session, you must complete the cancellation form which is available with the online forms under the heading Formulaires en lignes in the right sidebar of your portal. This will remove your name from our recall lists.

What should I do if I wish to modify my registration for the next session?

If you want to add or cancel a course for your Winter session, you must make an appointment with your academic advisor through Omnivox “Centre de rendez-vous” (appointment center) module.

We remind you that this process is important as your schedule for the next session will be made based on your course selection.

What are the consequences of not confirming my registration and not paying my fees?

The day after the deadline for payment without penalty
A fee of 50 $ will be added to your account. Nevertheless, you can still confirm your registration and pay your fees up until the date with penalty.

Note that late readmission is only offered if there are spaces remaining.

What payment method can I use?

Payment methods accepted:
Online payment through your financial institution is the preferred method of payment to pay the balance of an invoice. Payment by post (check or money order) is always accepted.

For all the details of payment terms and to find out about the list of eligible financial institutions or accepted payment methods, visit the page How to pay an invoice issued by Cégep Édouard-Montpetit, in French.

Note, however, that once paid, invoices are no longer accessible.

To continue paying a Cégep bill online:
You can now do this directly on your financial institution’s website, using the same method used, for example, for paying utility bills.
